Our Founder

Walter Castro is the founder and Executive Director of” Because U-Care,” a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education and resources for underprivileged families worldwide. With a diploma in the theological field and over a decade of experience in Humanity work management, Walter has become a leading advocate for Families’ welfare and educational equity.

After witnessing the struggles of families in impoverished communities during his travels overseas, Walter felt a profound calling to make a difference. This pivotal moment led him to establish Because U-Care in 2022 to empower families through access to dignified lives and mentorship programs.

Since its inception, the organization has provided clothing, food, and school supplies and motivated others to help in various underserved areas.

Under Walter’s leadership, “Because U-Care” has reached many families, providing them with the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty. The organization launched with a good reception among people for its innovative educational programs and community impact.

Walter is focused on expanding “Because U-Care” to other countries, opening facilities to collect all types of donations and provide household resources to families in remote areas. He believes that every family deserves the opportunity to have a better life, regardless of their circumstances.

Outside of his work with “Because U-Care,” Walter enjoys volleyball, soccer, and spending time with his family. He strongly believes in maintaining a balanced life, which fuels his passion for his work in service to others.
